Bunga the Penguin

In Bunga the Penguin, you play as the titular penguin who lives on a secluded ice-cap. Guide bubba through three years as he observes the world around him change as a result of forces beyond his control...

Global warming is becoming a phenomenon that's becoming harder and harder to ignore. For humans, The long term effects are either trivial or a long time coming... but there are those out there who aren't so lucky. Inspired by a real life encounter I had with a penguin at the Tampa Zoo, I created Bunga the Penguin to not only learn how to use Bitsy, but to also raise awareness for the ever growing issue of Global Warming. While the game touches upon very real subject matter that has serious impacts, I want the game to have a playful and hopeful tone. The project uses several different advance bits features such as variables, dialogue cycles, and transitions in order to create a high quality and emotional final product!
